Douro to the rescue

OK, the gang’s coming over for the Super Bowl, and there’s no time to cook. Or maybe you want something different. Why not let WAG fave Douro restaurant in Greenwich – profiled in our December 2012 “Bedazzled” issue – cater your affair? You can choose from any number of items on Douro’s nouvelle Mediterranean menu that features honey piri wings, slow-roasted pork spare ribs, tacos, chourico, empanadas, meatballs, flatbreads, hummus chips and an assortment of paehlas. You can schedule a pickup or delivery anytime between 1 and 5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 2 but best to call ahead to Dana at (203) 869-7622.

Please note: The restaurant will be closing at 5 p.m. that day. Hey, owners Rui and Dana Correia want to enjoy the game, too. – Georgette Gouveia
