Paging Scott and Zelda

For those longing to escape all the Super Bowl hype and become “boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past,” The Picture House in Pelham has just the ticket.

The Picture House – devoted to new, independent ad classic cinema – turns back the clock to the Roaring ’20s for its Winter Party at the Glen Island Harbour Club Saturday, Feb. 1.

The fun, which gets underway at 7 p.m., promises to be a night right out of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s “The Great Gatsby,” which is set across the Long Island Sound from romantic Glen Island. Guests are encouraged to wear Jazz Age attire to enjoy vintage cocktails, dinner, a speakeasy with a backroom casino and several surprises. Live and silent auctions feature summer internships – including one with advertising technology powerhouse Mediaocean – as well as luxe getaways (a house in the Hamptons for the Hamptons International Film Festival, anyone?), exclusive culinary experiences, a luxury box at the Barclays Center and much more. The Grammy Award-winning Vincent Giordano and the Nighthawks and popular DJ Gaspar Ramirez lead the entertainment.

Tickets start at $200 and include cocktails, dinner and dancing. To purchase tickets, call  (914) 738-3161.—Georgette Gouveia
