Shopping in Claudette in Old Greenwich and Bloomingdale’s in White Plains recently, we couldn’t help but notice all the great pastel handbags with long, thick, complementary patterned guitar-style straps. Last July, we bought a pink and green strap at the Sundance boutique in Merrifield, Virginia’s Mosaic District and paired it with a green purse our diplomat-sister Jana brought us from Myanmar.
It’s a most stylish upgrade to the crossbody – or anybody.
