Two years ago, WAG savored an opportunity to cover the first Literary Luncheon at the Inn at Pound Ridge by Jean-Georges. http://www.wagmag.com/the-books-of-ruth-reichl/ Now our mouths are watering as the second luncheon is set once again to offer a splendid repast served with food for thought.
During a three-course lunch by Jean-Georges on Tuesday, April 4, The New York Times’ food writer Melissa Clark will speak about her new book, “Dinner: Changing the Game,” which offers recipes so satisfying that each is in and of itself a complete dinner.
A recipient of both the IACP and James Beard awards, Clark is the author of The Times’ popular column “A Good Appetite” and stars in a weekly complementary video series. She also appears frequently on the “Today” show and on public radio.
The first seating at 11:30 is sold out. There are, however, limited places for the 1 p.m. seating. Books will also be available for purchase.
The cost of the luncheon is $84. For reservations, call 914-764-1400.
