For those who are dipping a toe back into the social waters, the White Plains Outdoor Arts Festival may be just the thing. The free event will be held 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, June 5 and 6, at Tibbits Park, North Broadway at Main Street. The more-than-50-year-old fest offers paintings, photographs, ceramics, glasswork, jewelry, textiles and works in other media, spotlighting veteran and emerging artists as well as festival scholarship winners. A children’s art workshop and food vendors round out the fun.
