Planet Fitness will host a grand opening event to celebrate its new club location in Norwalk on Thursday, July 15 from 5 to 7 p.m. Planet Fitness leadership and staff members will join Norwalk officials, community leaders and others to celebrate the $2.3 million, 20,000-square-foot space at 360 Connecticut Ave. The new club will accommodate more members and offer new amenities in a convenient location for Planet Fitness members in the southwestern Connecticut area.
The event will include a brief speaking program, ribbon-cutting ceremony and photo opportunity, tour of the new facility, a donation/check presentation to the Norwalk Education Foundation and fun activities for attendees of all ages. The celebration will also feature local businesses and vendors, Marco Pizza Truck, raffles, giveaways (including Apple Airpods and a $50 Amazon Gift Card), music and more.
