Is coffee having a moment? Or are its makers just getting more aggressive at marketing it? Disney just announced a “long-term strategic alliance” that makes Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co. the official specialty coffee of Walt Disney World, Disneyland and Disney Vacation Club properties. Meanwhile, Tylers Coffees of Tucson, Ariz. is presenting itself as a less acidic alternative to Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks.
Speaking of Starbucks, it’s countering such claims with its new blond blend, which lives up to its rep. It’s blond, not bland – and perfectly suited for those of us who like a little coffee with our cream and sugar.
