“Who can turn the world on with a smile?” Well, yes, Mary Tyler Moore (as per the theme song of her eponymous 1970s hit sitcom) but also Gunner, a mixed breed with terrific manners. He’s a dream on car rides and plays well with others.
Despite being abandoned at a high-kill shelter and being thrown into a foster situation with two small dogs, this 7-year-old is one easygoing guy.
To meet Gunner, visit the SPCA of Westchester at 590 N. State Road in Briarcliff Manor.
Founded in 1883, the SPCA is a no-kill shelter and is not affiliated with the ASPCA. The SPCA is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays. To learn more, call 914- 941-2896 or visit spca914.org.
