Neiman Marcus’ “The Christmas Book 2021” is out. Let the drooling over its goodies commence.
This year’s catalog of delights features everything from a St. Michael’s amulet pendant, a relief of the warrior angel set in a shield form, for him ($950) to an Elizabeth Locke Fat Bee pendant ($3,425) for her to a Versace Barocco kitchen set (apron and matching oven mitts) in signature black and gold with the Medusa logo for them ($395).
For us, we’d like the Chanel black-and-white, bouclé, fringed bolero jacket ($9,700) and matching skirt ($4,400), please. No, what we really want is that gold, caped gown ($5,488) from the Jenny Packham X 007 Collection that Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge wore to the London premiere of “No Time to Die,” the one that stamped her in royal watchers’ eyes as truly a queen to be.
As if this were not over the top enough, there are this year’s fantasy gifts, including the Barrett-Jackson Hummer EV Edition 1 ($285,000), the Roaring Twenties Party at the Apollo Theater in Harlem ($395,000), done by planner/designer extraordinaire Bronson Van Wyck, and the Mughal Heart Diamond, a 30.86-carat, D-color, internally flawless gem (a cool $6.1 million).
Santa, are you listening?
