Jewelry lovers in WAG country will want to mark Dec. 7 on their calendars.
That’s when the Greenwich Decorative Arts Society, formerly known as The Greenwich Antiques Society, welcomes Benjamin Macklowe for a lecture devoted to that most glittering subject of all.
Macklowe, a well-known figure in the jewelry world as president of Macklowe Gallery in Manhattan, will be on hand at the Bruce Museum to present “Art Nouveau: A Jewel in Every Medium.”
The lecture will be held at 1:15 p.m., followed by refreshments. Admission for nonmembers is $25, with space limited. Reservations for both members and guests are required by Nov. 30.
