Off to market

Those who love a good treasure hunt will want to head to Norwalk this weekend.

Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum will host its seventh annual Old Fashioned Flea Market from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 21 on its grounds.

Shoppers will find some 80 vendors offering goods new and vintage, including antiques, furniture, collectibles, jewelry, household items, clothing and toys.

The day will be rounded out by a classic and antique car show, swing and jazz music, refreshments and children’s activities. Admission is free.

In addition, the museum will be open for mini-tours ($5) from noon to 4 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the museum.

A National Historic Landmark, the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum is in Mathews Park, at 295 West Ave.
