Setting a lovely autumn table

When it’s time to set the table for a fall get-together, it’s just so nice to have appropriate linens.

You want to create that rich, luxurious feel with colors and patterns that reflect the harvest season.

To that end, we are loving the Poetree Fuchsia collection from Garnier-Thiebaut, a French brand that has been featured before in WAG.

This particular pattern, which is available on tablecloths (starting at $272.50), table runners, napkins and placemats, is 100 percent cotton Jacquard made in France.

And while it certainly looks good, it also has a “hidden” feature that makes it all the more attractive – the material sports the patented Green Sweet stain-resistant treatment. It can’t be felt or seen but prevents spills (think red wine, coffee or ketchup) from permeating the fabric, while allowing them to easily be absorbed with a paper towel or wiped off with a sponge – without leaving any stain.

Pretty and practical, right?
