Their careers, marriages, families, divorces and changes in fortune are dramatized in the novel. But the main plot focuses on the present day, when the lovers circle back to find each other, and then set out to confront the man who knows the truth about what happened to their friend.

Former WAG editor Emily Liebert was the subject of a WAG profile in September 2013 when her relationship novel “You Knew Me When” hit bookstores and Kindles.
Now she’s back with “When We Fall” (Penguin Random House, Sept. 2), whichfollows Allison Parker’s quest for a fresh start after losing her husband in a horrific accident.
