Celebrate Ludwig van B. in his 250th year – the big day isn’t until Dec. 17 – as the Stamford Symphony Orchestrapresents an all-Beethoven concert this weekend, featuring The “Coriolan” Overture, the Violin Concerto, with soloist Pamela Frank, and Symphony No. 7. (It’s not as famous as the fifth or the ninth but it packs its own punch, with one heck of a poignant second movement.) Michael Stern, music director designate, returns to the podium. The performances are at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22 and 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23 at the Palace Theatre, 61 Atlantic St.
