A deliberately ‘Sour Happy Hour’

Dig Inn and Newburgh’s Graft Cidery will host a happy hour event Wednesday pairing curated dishes with signature ciders.

One of our favorite healthy fast-casual eateries, Dig Inn, has teamed up with Newburgh-based cider purveyor Graft Cidery to offer a “Sour Happy Hour” on Wednesday, Feb. 28, one complete with signature ciders and charcuterie pairings.
The tasting event at the Rye Brook restaurant at 112 S. Ridge St. will feature an assortment of Graft Cidery’s core drinks to sample, including the Farm Flor, Hop Tropic and Where Secrets Lie.

Those libations will pair with a collaborative Graft Orchard bowl created exclusively for the evening. The bowl will mix farro, butternut squash, coconut-roasted carrots, grilled heirloom apples and herb flank steak. A chef-curated vegetable charcuterie will include mushroom tartare, celery root pastrami and parsnip bone marrow toasts.
Stop by to grab a cider 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., when representatives from Graft will be on hand with both samples and for-sale ciders.
