A homemade Valentine’s Day

The Westport Museum for History & Culture is offering a DIY Vintage Valentine Day’s Cupid Kit.

The Westport Museum for History & Culture is offering a DIY Vintage Valentine Day’s Cupid Kit that includes a bottle of sparkling wine, dry ingredients and a recipe to make your own chocolate tart, supplies to create your own antique-styled greeting cards, a goose feather and tutorial on how to create a quill from it and a sample of vintage calligraphy to help teach you how to dedicate your cards.  You’ll also get access to video tutorials for the quill and calligraphy, as well as a cooking video to guide you as you make your chocolate tart. Additional videos about the history of  both chocolates and Valentines’ greetings will round out your experience.

Order now for $30 — $50 for two kits – and pick up your goodies at the museum, 25 Avery Place, from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7. Click here for tickets.
