Bloomingdale’s White Plains knows how to get down – with good eats, good music, good friends and good fun.
WAG was delighted to be invited to the store’s Top of the List Soirée, with strolling models featuring seasonal trends as we dined on such goodies as mini butternut squash soups and grilled cheeses, chicken cordon bleu balls and short ribs on grilled polenta hors d’oeuvres.
Tarot card reader Amanda Light, appearing through Entertainment Theo Philip, offered some prescient observations and advice, while guest bopped to the jazz stylings of DJ Theo and Co. in a black and red club setting that was a little bit naughty and a little bit nice.
The highlight for us, however, may have been magician Miguel Borja – he of the suddenly flammable wallet. (“Money is burning a hole in it,” he said.) His card tricks had us laughing and applauding in amazement.
The look on WAG fashion and beauty writer Danielle Renda’s face when he held her hands between his – and made a whole deck of cards that she was cradling disappear – was worth the entire evening.
