A show that never disappoints

I had the chance to go to Crafts at Lyndhurst May 2, the middle day of the spring edition of the famed show that comes to Tarrytown twice a year.

I hadn’t been in a while – and it was a colorful reminder of what I’ve been missing.

The artistry on display in the hundreds of booths was amazing – from jewelry to pottery, clothing to glass, collage work to so much more.

And the well-run show has continued to grow in other ways, too, with quite the offerings of gourmet fare, activities and demonstrations and live entertainment.

I was pleased to see so many artists I’ve written about over the years still going strong – and also visited the booths of countless more whose work captured my imagination.

The fall edition of the Artrider Productions event is set for Sept.18-20.

I’ve already marked my calendar…
