The Greenwich Rotary Club named Adalbert “Adie” von Gontard Jr. its Citizen of The Year for his many years of service to the community, honoring him with a dinner recently at the Round Hill Club in Greenwich. The event also featured a live auction benefiting the Boys and Girls Club of Greenwich, the Greenwich Public Schools’ Title I reading project, Greenwich High School college scholarships, Polio Plus and other local programs and charities.
