Antiquarius returns to Greenwich

Antiquarius is again set to kick off the Greenwich holiday season in high style.

If the holiday season’s around the corner, then it must also be nearing the time for Antiquarius.

And yes, once again the Greenwich Historical Society will offer this annual series of high-style events that this year are set to include a holiday house tour, boutique, antiques show and more, with activities scheduled Dec. 1-6.

Among the highlights:

• The Greenwich Winter Antiques Show, featuring some 40 dealers and honorary design chair Richard Keith Langham, will have its Opening Night Dec. 1 and continue Dec. 2 and 3 at the Eastern Greenwich Civic Center in Old Greenwich. There will be a free lecture and appraisals (by appointment) with a representative from Rago Arts and Auction Center Dec. 2.

• A Holiday Boutique with more than three dozen curated vendors will be held at Greenwich Country Club, previewing Dec. 5 and continuing Dec. 6.

• The event’s famed Holiday House Tour will this year feature six private Greenwich homes representing various architectural and decorative styles. The event will be held Dec. 6, with an optional luncheon at Greenwich Country Club. Advance reservations are required.

All of the proceeds from Antiquarius support the historical society and will enable it to continue its education and preservation efforts.
