Remember Eddie – the vibrant Jack Russell Terrier who could evaporate Dr. Frasier Crane’s exasperations with a long stare on NBC’s “Frasier”?
Eddie, meet Maxine.
Like Eddie (and also Moose, the late, great canine actor who played Eddie), Maxine is a purebred Jack Russell Terrier with lots of life, energy and personality to spare. This Westchester stray loves everyone she meets. (We ourselves can attest to her excited greeting when we caught up with her for a WAG photo shoot.) But she would be truly happiest with an owner who can keep up with her and keep her busy in a home with lots of property to romp around on. Such an owner would discover a wonderful, happy little dog.
To meet Maxine, please visit the SPCA of Westchester at 590 N. State Road in Briarcliff Manor.
Please note, the SPCA does not accept deposits, make appointments or reserve animals for adoption even if it has spoken about a particular dog or cat with you. It is always first come, first served among applicants, pending approval. The SPCA is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays. To learn more, call (914) 941-2896 or visit spca914.org.
