ArtsWestchester celebrates 20 years in its White Plains headquarters.

Since ArtsWestchester acquired 31 Mamaroneck Ave. in 1998, it has been restoring and transforming the nine-story building, originally owned by Peoples National Bank and Trust Co., into a multi-use arts center, known as the Arts Exchange. In that time, the arts council has become New York state’s largest private, nonprofit cultural service organization.

Additionally, it is home to more than 20 artists and arts-related businesses. Here’s a peek into a few of its artists’ studios:
