You may know Phil Hall as the award-winning senior enterprise editor for Westfair Communications’ Westchester and Fairfield County Business Journald and the author of WAG’s eclectic history- and pop culture-focused articles. Now, he adds playwright to his credits with the debut of “Moby Dick: The Radio Play,” an audio format adaptation of the Herman Melville masterpiece.
Phil’s play was produced and presented in two half-hour chapters by “Nutmeg Junction,” a syndicated weekly radio drama series. In addition to bringing “Moby Dick” to the airwaves, Phil took on the role of Capt. Ahab as he’s also an actor who has appeared in more than 20 films and is part of the “Nutmeg Junction” ensemble of voice actors.
“Moby Dick: The Radio Play” had its premiere on Dec. 1 at WAPJ-FM in Torrington, Connecticut. If you want to set sail with Phil’s version of “Moby Dick,” here are the links to the two-part production:
