Beach-bag chic

WAG first introduced our readers to Lexington Clothing Co. back in 2012, when the Swedish-based lifestyle brand was opening its Greenwich store.

We’ve followed them ever since. Perhaps you’ve seen its fashions gracing our Chic Choices pages?

Today, we’d like to share the latest news we’ve received from the company – details of its partnering with interior designer Anthony Baratta, who got his start some 30 years ago after graduating from Fordham University.

The “Anchors Aweigh” partnership has yielded a most timely product, a plush limited-edition, cotton-velour beach towel sporting a whimsical anchor-inspired design.

Proceeds from the sale of the towel ($79) will go to the Group for the East End (GFEE), which protects and restores the eastern end of Long Island’s environment. It will be available online and in Lexington stores.

Baratta is also creating a special installation window for Lexington’s Southampton shop, with the featured products also sold to benefit GFEE.
