It’s time once again for one of WAG’s fave events of the year – “The Makeup Date” at Bloomingdale’s White Plains, Sunday, Nov. 17.
Picture it: Some 500 passionate lovers of beauty at Bloomie’s door at 8:30 a.m. Inside, a DJ spins hits while mimosas, coffee and breakfast treats fortify you for a morning of cosmetics presentations that include raffles of your favorite products, worth thousands of dollars. Your $25 ticket entitles you to $25 off a cosmetics purchase, plus a makeup bag filled with goodies that you can add to at various counters, which will also be offering makeovers. It’s like Halloween for beauty buffs.
Presiding over the merriment will be Carson Kressley and comedian Regina DeCicco, both veteran emcees of the event.
But that’s just the beginning of a day that will include dry blowouts and styling, arts and crafts and more giveaways.
