Christina Greene crafts unique jewelry

The new issue of WAG, themed “Passion Plays,” is our annual look at sports and recreation.

We extend that theme by shining the spotlight on jewelry designer Christina Greene, who has a background – and remains active – in rodeo.

The Texas-raised designer, now splitting her time between Houston and Colorado, is affiliated with the rodeo in her hometown but is focusing on her career in jewelry design.

A graduate of the Parsons School of Design, Greene offers jewelry handmade from individually chosen semi-precious stones sourced from India.

The eclectic selections are noted for bright colors and bold designs that pay tribute to the beauty of the natural stones, which include lapis, amethyst, pyrite, turquoise and red quartz. Necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings range from $100 to $600.

And for those who like to ride, check out the Rodeo Wear collection that includes hat bands and badge holders.

Shop well!
