Connecticut takes pride in Pride Month

The Delamar celebrates Pride Month

Held every June, Pride Month remembers those who stood for gay rights in the 1969 Stonewall Riots in Greenwich Village and encourages respect for all people, regardless of their sexual orientation.

The Delamar West Hartford marks Pride all month with its True Colors Package of deluxe accommodations, a complimentary bottle of wine, a $25 dining credit to Artisan restaurant, two hand-beaded Free2 Luv bracelets and a 10% Delamar Spa discount for massage or facial treatments.  Other Connecticut events include Norwalk’s Pride in the Park,” noon to 9 p.m. Saturday, June 11, at Mathews Park, 295 West Ave., and Darien’s first Pride Celebration,” noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 12, at Tilley Pond Park, 38 West. Ave.
