Designed for a good cause

MOCIUN Fine Jewelry & Home in Brooklyn is teaming with a number of jewelry and luxury home goods emporia for the Design for Community Relief Auction (Sunday, Aug. 9 through Saturday, Aug. 15).

September is our annual fashion/design issue and while the spring and summer have not exactly been great fashion moments this year, you can whet your appetite with an upcoming jewelry-home goods auction serving some great causes.

MOCIUN Fine Jewelry & Home in Brooklyn is teaming with a number of jewelry and luxury home goods emporia for the Design for Community Relief Auction (Sunday, Aug. 9 through Saturday, Aug. 15). The auction will benefit Colin Kaepernick’s Know Your Rights Camp, empowering communities of color; The Conscious Kid, an education organization that’s launched a rent relief fund for financially strapped black families; One Fair Wage, offering assistance to tipped workers and other service workers who are out of a job or can’t work at this moment; and the National Domestic Workers Alliance, providing assistance to undocumented workers, who are not eligible for government assistance.
