Inspira Marketing Group in Norwalk is working with New York City-based partner agency Enthuse Marketing Group to combat food insecurity by teaming up with WhyHunger, a global organization that provides critical resources to support grassroots movements and fuels community solutions to end hunger.
In addition to a $10,000 donation to WhyHunger, Inspira and Enthuse have started a social media campaign, #FoodTag2022, to encourage donations to local food banks. Participants visit WhyHunger’s online food bank locator to identify a food pantry near them, snap a photograph of themselves donating food at the pantry, post the photo on social media and challenge someone to do the same by tagging them on the photo, using the #FoodTag22 hashtag.
The initiative runs through May 16.
