Fox Lane High hosts one-day Covid vaccine clinic

Announcing a new Covid vaccination clinic at Fox Lane High School.

On Monday, Jan. 31, the Ossining Volunteer Ambulance Corps (OVAC) and Phelps Hospital Northwell Health will offer the Pfizer Covid vaccine (ages 5 and over) as well as the Moderna and Janssen vaccines (ages 18 and over) at Bedford Central School District’s Fox Lane High School. Booster shots will also be available.

This is a follow-up to their first Fox Lane vaccine clinic on Jan. 10, at which 390 of the school district’s faculty, staff, students, parents and community members were vaccinated or boosted – a record number for an OVAC/Phelps clinic.

Attendees should bring their vaccination cards and photo IDs. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Second doses will be administered at Ossining Volunteer Ambulance Corps on any Wednesday or Friday after Feb. 21.

The clinic will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. at the high school library (north entrance), 632 S. Bedford Road. Registration is encouraged, but walk-ins are accepted
