Getting crafty, yet again

Time certainly does fly, as they say.

Shoppers, art collectors and admirers of all things handmade likely already have Fall Crafts at Lyndhurst on their calendars. Seems like the spring edition was only yesterday.

Well, the next edition of the local institution will again be filling the lawns and tents set up on the grounds of the Lyndhurst mansion in Tarrytown for three full days, Sept. 18-20.

More than 300 modern American makers, artists, designers and craftspeople will be exhibiting their work. The event will also again feature live entertainment, demonstrations and workshops, children’s activities and a selection of gourmet fare.

The show, as it has been for more than 30 years, is produced by Artrider Productions, which continues its 2015 schedule with shows in Rhinebeck (Oct. 2-4), Purchase (Oct. 31-Nov. 1), Brooklyn (Dec. 4-6, an Artrider debut show) and Morristown, N.J. (Dec. 11-13).
