Glittering days ahead

WAG has featured the designs – and philanthropic efforts – of the Stamford-based fashion-jewelry company Carolee New York several times, so we were delighted to continue the association this past week.

Carolee invited us to a 2016 spring/summer jewelry collection preview that also included the latest looks from French Connection, ABS by Allen Schwartz, Lauren Ralph Lauren and Trina Turk. (Carolee has jewelry licensing agreements with these companies, working closely with them to design and manufacture jewelry collections.)

It was an exciting visit, as we toured through each company’s spring/summer collections. We saw earrings and bracelets, necklaces and pins in gold and silver, crystals and pearls, enamel, beads and fibers. Designs ranged from classic to cutting edge. There were earrings ideal for the most formal celebration and necklaces you might wear grabbing dinner after a day at the beach. In short, all bases were stylishly covered.

The designs will be in stores in coming months – and I have a feeling you might be seeing some of them in our own Chic Choices column as well.
