After developing adult onset psoriasis during college, Iris Cherng learned how important it was to shop for products with clean and natural ingredients. But she also learned how expensive those products can be. Like most college students, skincare with high quality, organic ingredients was out of her price range. Cherng took matters into her own hands, and, with her mom’s knowledge of herbs and experience making creams and lotions, Cherng created her very own skincare brand – Honey Belle.
With two parents and an uncle who are holistic doctors, Cherng assures that all products are made from only the finest clean ingredients that help to treat specific problems such as acne scarring, blackheads, eczema and more. Cherng consults with her family for their knowledge of herbs and traditional Asian medicine to ensure the formulas are effective. The products are made in small batches at a Southern California factory and are never tested on animals.
Not only does Honey Belle create natural products that help improve skin, but the brand also gives back. Through its #SoapforSouls initiative, Honey Belle donates a bar of soap to those in need with each bar of soap purchased. Honey Belle works with both local Californian shelters as well as a medical group that has traveled to such countries as Peru, Guatemala, Nepal and Vietnam.
Honey Belle is available at more than 1,000 stores across the world. Find Honey Belle at Riley Rose and ULTA Beauty as well as at Amazon.
