The climate action movement Bedford 2030, part of April WAG’s business and the environment issue, isn’t the only group celebrating Earth Day, Friday, April 22. The day, first marked in 1970, has taken on new urgency in a time of global warming, species extinction and dwindling resources.

The Rock and Roll Playhouse, founded by Peter Shapiro, owner of The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, invites you to a Grateful Dead for Kids concert Saturday, April 23, at Garcia’s (named for the Dead’s Jerry Garcia) at The Capitol.
