At just 34 years of age, and amid a global pandemic, Antonio Rende achieved a dream he’s had for nearly two decades – his own hair salon.
Rende’s HBAR Salon & Spa opened in November as the exclusive salon in Stamford’s Harbor Point. The salon focuses on providing a high-end experience to all of its clients and is dedicated to offering products that are ammonia and paraben-free, certified vegan and recognized by Leaping Bunny and PETA as cruelty-free.
What we particularly love to hear is that Rende also tries to accommodate everyone’s needs, especially as Covid-19 continues to spread. He offers appointments to expectant mothers, the elderly and immunocompromised clients at times when the schedule isn’t too busy. He also offers transgender individuals a comfortable and accepting beauty space that honors their requests for privacy.
