In a crafty mood

Those who can’t wait for the next Crafts at Lyndhurst to arrive – it’s in May – can mark their calendars for a March event that will whet the appetite.

That’s when Artrider, the production company that’s been putting on the Lyndhurst event for decades, kicks off its 2017 schedule.

Spring CraftMorristown is scheduled to begin March 17 in Morristown, New Jersey.

The three-day curated show will offer the chance to purchase new handmade creations from 150 American makers. Fine artists and craftsmen will be traveling from more than 25 states to exhibit their one-of-a-kind work – everything from jewelry to apparel, furniture to sculpture – at the Morristown Armory through March 19.

The Artrider season will then continue with Spring Crafts at Lyndhurst, set for May 5-7, and the Rhinebeck Crafts Festival, scheduled for June 24 and 25. It will then continue with Fall Crafts at Lyndhurst Sept. 15-17; Crafts at Purchase Oct. 28 and 29; CraftWestport Nov. 4 and 5; and wrap up the year with Holiday CraftMorristown Dec. 8-10.
