Kudos…

Rami Malek, who won an Oscar Sunday, was featured in February WAG.

To Rami Malek, who took home the Best Actor Oscar Sunday for his performance as Freddie Mercury, the late lead singer of Queen, in “Bohemian Rhapsody.” A dark horse throughout the awards season, “Rhapsody” also won for Best Editing, Best Sound Editing and Best Sound Mixing at the ceremony, which had something for everyone, including the usual controversy.

WAG music critic Gregg Shapiro interviewed Malek – along with Dutchess County’s Joseph Mazzello, who plays Queen bass player John Deacon, and Gwylim Lee as guitarist Brian May – for WAG’s February “Romantic Fascination” issue

Congratulations to Malek and all the winners, and thanks to our Gregg for bringing us the interview.
