‘MAD’ about jewelry once more

“LOOT: MAD About Jewelry,” a cutting-edge exhibition and sale, returns for its annual run at the Museum of Arts and Design in Manhattan.

Jewelry lovers with a penchant for the contemporary likely know that “LOOT: MAD About Jewelry” is about to return to Manhattan.

For those who’ve not been before, LOOT is an annual exhibition and sale of contemporary, often cutting-edge, jewelry created by artists from around the world and held at the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) on Columbus Circle.

This year, MAD has curated the 19thannual edition of the show to feature some 55 artists from 18 countries. They will be exhibiting their one-of-a-kind work beginning with an April 8 Opening Benefit, to be followed by a public sale April 9-13.

If past editions are any indication, this is one event jewelry lovers will want to be sure to attend.
