“Is There Still Sex in the City?”
That’s the title of “Sex in the City” author Candace Bushnell’s new book, which she’ll discuss via a Bedford Playhouse Zoom event June 16. The author behind the hit 1990s HBO series will be interviewed by filmmaker Nancy Steiner (Cross River Productions) and will also talk about her “Rules for Being a Girl.” Written with Katie Cotugno, “Rules” is a young adult novel about a girl fighting sexism in her school – and fighting off a predatory teacher.
Pre-registration is encouraged at bedfordplayhouse.org. And though the event doesn’t start until 7:30 p.m., you’ll want to mix your cosmo at 7:15 p.m. so you’ll be in full Carrie mode by then.
