New year, healthy new you

Holiday indulgence usually brings New Year’s remorse – or, at least, the determination to eat healthy in the new year. NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital has announced a series of virtual community events during the month of January that will in part address this.

Holiday indulgence usually brings New Year’s remorse – or, at least, the determination to eat healthy in the new year. NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital has announced a series of virtual community events during the month of January that will in part address this. Among them are: 

“Kick Start the New Year with Healthy Recipes” (Monday, Jan. 4, 3:30 to 4:15 p.m.),  which will examine the body’s natural detoxification process,as well as recipes to reset your body for 2021: 

And “Physician in the Kitchen Program: Self-Care Habits for 2021” (Tuesday, Jan. 5, 12:30 to 1:15 p.m.), featuring Jennifer Park, M.D., a practitioner of family medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Hudson Valley, with some ideas on ways to incorporate self-care habits this year and learn some healthy recipes. This program is presented in partnership with The Field Library of Peekskill.
