Now the jewelry wizard turns his sleight of hand to the oft-overlooked peridot, August’s light-green birthstone, for five easy pieces that conjure all of end-of-summer’s lush heat and mystery. A fave of ours – Soldier’s Gold Blossom Ring, in which a 14.5-carat smoky quartz stone sits on a garden bed of peridots, sapphires, pink topazes, diamonds and 18-karat gold.
