Grand Central Terminal wants to whisk you away to Palm Beach County, Florida – all within the confines of the Manhattan terminus itself. From 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, and 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 3, Grand Central’s Vanderbilt Hall is hosting The Palm Beaches, Palm Beach County’s tourism marketing organization, complete with a vintage jet plane – signifying the “Golden Age of Travel” to the resort in the 1920s — and a social media contest that could net you a roundtrip airline ticket to the playground of the rich and famous. (Visitors to the pop-up are invited to snap a photograph, share it on Instagram and tag @palmbeachsfl for a chance to win.)
The “Golden Age of Travel” to fun in the sun is back, say the press materials, and doesn’t that sound good right about now?
