Pitman shares her expertise in Greenwich

Jennifer Pitman of Rago Arts and Auction Center is lecturing Dec. 4 in Greenwich.

WAG introduced readers to Jennifer Pitman back in our January issue.

At the time, the longtime Westchester resident – a veteran of the art, auction and antiques world – was just a few months into her new role as specialist and senior account manager, Westchester/Connecticut for Rago Arts and Auction Center.

Pitman, formerly head of Sale, Silver at Christie’s New York, was looking forward to really connecting with her “home audience,” working to expand the reach and local profile of the noted auction house based in Lambertville, New Jersey.

She’s been quite active in her role, involved in many local events – and we’re happy to say, joining WAG as writer of our new “What’s Collectible?” column.

Pitman will once again share her expertise when she offers a lecture, “Japanese Influence on American Silver,” at 1:15 p.m. Dec. 4 at the Bruce Museum in Greenwich.

Presented by the Greenwich Decorative Arts Society, the lecture will be followed by refreshments.

All are welcome; admission for nonmembers is $25.

Space is limited with reservations required by Nov. 27.

For reservations or information, email greenwichdecorativearts@gmail.com or call 203-322-2967.
