Putting a smile on your door

Fleurish is offering a series of wreath-making workshops to brighten the season.

They – whoever they are – say that a wreath is the smile on the face of your home. Fleurish wants to make sure that smile is bright during the holiday season.

Tucked neatly away in the Greenwich backcountry, the luxury florist is offering a series of Holiday Wreath-Making Workshops for all skill levels. Fleurish creative director Tori Santos and her team of enterprising elves will be on hand to help participants create a beautiful 24-inch wreath that will add a little sparkle to anyone’s holiday décor.

Holiday Wreath-Making Workshops will take place on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 2 p.m.; Tuesday, Dec. 4 at 11 a.m. and Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. The hands-on course will teach even fumble-thumbs to design a lush wreath with fragrant, locally grown winter greens, cones, berries, mosses and branches and accent it with unusual materials like vintage ribbon and organic dried goods, creating a stylish doorway decoration to welcome all guests.

Each two-hour workshop costs $95 per guest, which includes all the materials and decorations needed to create a beautiful holiday addition for your home as well as light refreshments and a Champagne toast.

Bring any special decorations you might wish to personalize your holiday wreath. Payment is required in advance due to materials fees and is nonrefundable. Each workshop is limited to 10 people and must have a minimum of four participants to take place.
