Rafael Nadal is set to strip down as the new spokesmodel for Greenwich’s own Tommy Hilfiger. And all we at WAG can say is that if his new ads are half as sensuous as his 2011 campaign for Armani (ripped jeans, under a waterfall), we’ll be going, “rrrrrrrrrrrr!”
At first glance, the Majorcan and the Yankee Doodle designer would seem an Odd Couple indeed. But according to the Daily Mail : http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2879383/Rafael-Nadal-strip-new-Tommy-Hilfiger-underwear-model-designer-says-tennis-great-confident-fun-cool.html#ixzz3MfCvGxlT :
“The designer chose Nadal because he’s ‘confident, fun and cool.’
“Nadal said: ‘I’ve always admired Tommy Hilfiger’s cool, all-American designs, which are sophisticated and easy to wear, and I’m excited to be partnering with the brand.’”
We say: Bring it on.
