Think ‘dumpling noodle house’ meets ‘Chinatown street vendor’, prepared by Hong Kong cooks. Bring to that service, style, and an eco-friendly environment with an organic, local focus on ingredients, and China White becomes that place where Chinese food is presented in an unbastardized version of its bright, fresh and flavorful self.
Communal tables and counter seating add to the energy of the room and the menu’s focus on authentic recipes and preparations make up the underlining culture of the China White experience. Organic chicken, local raised pork, grass fed beef, organic silken tofu, wild caught fish and seafood, cage-free chicken eggs, free range duck, and organic vegetables make up the menu.
In keeping with an American Chinese tradition, China White does a strong take-out business, while re-inventing the manner by which it is executed. A late night schedule allows hungry revelers, post show patrons, and tired commuters a place to enjoy quality food while the rest of the neighborhood is calling it a night. Asian beer selections, sake, and house made soda drinks comprise the bulk of the bar selections, continuing with the more authentic, organic approach to food, and even beverage.
