Did you catch our feature on the Silvermine Arts Center that ran in the June issue? It was a great chance to spend some time at the New Canaan institution and offer a glimpse into all its artistic offerings.
Well, the management there has let us know of a major event that have coming up that we’re sure you’ll want to add to your calendar.
“Signed, Sealed & Delivered” is the name of this year’s fundraising art sale, which will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 5 at the center. The evening, where admission is $35, will feature wine, hors d’ouevres and the main event – the chance to start or expand your own art collection.
Original works of art by Silvermine Guild artists, School of Art faculty members and a selection of invited internationally known artists will be featured for purchase and by raffle.
The format promises to be one unlike any you’ve heard of before; we’ll give you plenty of details as the event draws near.
