Serving the Hudson Valley’s disabled

The pandemic makes life doubly challenging for those with disabilities. Organizations like YAI are here to help.

One of the leading developmental disability services nonprofits in the metro area, YAI will be livestreaming its Hudson Valley End of Summer Celebration on Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 6:30 p.m., featuring performances by regional artists like The Benjamins, Stacey Tirro, Vinny Viola & Baloo, Fae Zaria, Kyle Lewis and Cee Jay. The celebration benefits the intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) community in the Hudson Valley region, helping it raise funds for the 2021 Hudson Valley Spring Ball. At a time when there has been little to celebrate, events like these rally the I/DD community, especially in the Hudson Valley area.
