Shopping for a worthy cause

WAG profiled Patricia Polk and her Ridgefield boutique last April in our annual animal-themed issue. Patricia’s Presents was a perfect fit for “Animal Passion,” as the charming shop is always filled with fashions, gifts and accessories dedicated to animal prints, designs and themes (plus much more).

Polk has kept in touch — and has let us know that this weekend she’ll again be raising funds for Ann’s Place. The Danbury-based nonprofit, celebrating its 25th anniversary, offers community-based cancer support in Connecticut and the Hudson Valley.

Shop at Patricia’s Presents, at 199 Ethan Allen Highway, from Feb. 25 through 28 and 20 percent of all sales will be donated to the organization.

We know you’re going to love the selection of clothing, bags, jewelry and gifts — and be sure to pay special attention to both the wide selection of art created by regional artists and Polk’s own jewelry designs.

Have fun (and tell her WAG sent you).
