Nowadays, the world is filled with the sound of music to comfort, inspire and entertain. The Westchester Chordsmen offer Keith Harris’ “Give Me Your Tired, Your Poor,” a patriotic song with words from “The New Colossus,” the Emma Lazarus poem inscribed on the base of the Statue of Liberty, and a new text by Harris.

Not to be outdone, the Westchester Women’s Chorus – which rehearses and performs at The Cortlandt School of Performing Arts in Croton-on-Hudson – presents “Hero” by Mariah Carey and Walter Afanasieff to honor workers at Phelps Hospital/Northwell Health in Sleepy Hollow.
